1993 Land Rover Defender 110 NAS Project (engine fire)

This project is a 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 NAS truck that the heater core caught on fire.  Not 100% sure of the cause yet but have begun to strip this vehicle for a total make over.  It will be fitted with a new bonnet and new heater core, European style A/C and a TD5 Dash Kit.  I am looking forward to seeing it back from paint in a few weeks.  We are going to have the entire vehicle resprayed with a base/clear coat, along with the roof rack, wheels and new bolts and lugs all the way around.

Post the repaint we will be putting in the new TD5 Dash kit.  I am still not sure on the stereo and misc features that we will add, look forward to updating you later.

1995 Land Rover Defender 90 Suspension, Seat, Winch and Hella Upgrade

2005 Land Rover Defender 90 (After)
Duffy's Garage was asked to do a simple upgrade on this 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 for Land Rovers For Sale.com (now known as Adventure Motorcars).  Their client wanted to remove the rear bench seats and install Exmoor rear facing seats and also install a Warn 9000 winch and 2 Hella 500 lights.  They also wanted to install a 2" Terrafirma Lift kit and remove the factory suspension.  I unfortunately do not have a photo of the bench seat but you can see the after shots.

2003 Range Rover HSE Suspension Conversion

This was another customer of ours who had a 2003 to 2006 Range Rover where the Air Suspension had failed.  After a long conversation he decided to not replace the 2 struts that had failed and opted for a true full suspension conversion provided by Atlantic British.  This system does not use the factory struts, instead comes with new springs and struts combined.  It is an easier install and will provide a much longer life than using uncertain factory shocks.

The vehicle rides now in the high position and is not adjustable.  The lights on the dash are turned off using equipment provided by AB.  The lift looks Great and the ride is fantastic.  This was just easy and fun and our client is looking forward to upsizing those tires soon and putting a good AT tire on them.

Please give Duffy's Garage a call if you have any suspension conversion questions involved with Land Rovers.
